1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the services of The Car Guys UK Limited ("we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access our services.

2. Vehicle Sales

2.1 Vehicle Descriptions

We make every effort to accurately describe vehicles. However, all descriptions are provided in good faith and for general guidance only.

2.2 Vehicle Viewing

We strongly recommend viewing any vehicle in person before purchase. Virtual viewings may be arranged by appointment.

2.3 Pricing

All prices are in GBP and include VAT where applicable. Prices are subject to change without notice until a deposit is paid.

3. Reservations and Deposits

3.1 Reservation Period

A minimum deposit of £100 reserves a vehicle for an agreed period, typically 7-14 days.

3.2 Deposit Refunds

Deposits are refundable if:

• The vehicle is significantly not as described
• We are unable to provide clear title to the vehicle
• The vehicle fails a professional inspection (at your cost)

Deposits are non-refundable if you change your mind or fail to complete the purchase within the agreed timeframe.

4. Payment

We accept the following payment methods:

• Bank transfer (preferred for final payment)
• Debit/Credit card (for deposits and smaller amounts)

Full payment must be received before the vehicle is released to you.

5. Part Exchange

We accept part exchange vehicles. Valuations are subject to inspection and may be adjusted if the vehicle condition differs from that described. Part exchange valuations are valid for 7 days.

6. Warranties

All vehicles are sold with statutory warranties under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Extended warranties may be available at additional cost.

Vehicles are sold on an "as seen" basis. We recommend a professional inspection before purchase.

8. Delivery

Vehicles will be delivered directly to you. Delivery costs depend on distance and will be confirmed before purchase.

9. Consumer Rights

Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law. For full details of your consumer rights, visit Citizens Advice.

10. Limitation of Liability

We do not limit our liability for death or personal injury, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be limited by law. Subject to this, our total liability shall not exceed the purchase price of the vehicle.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
